If you google "5 leaved akebia" this shot comes up pretty quick! The akebia covers the far arbor, over Ted's office door. The arbor over the kitchen door is Kiwi.

This was after a swim in the lake at Dog Beach. The nasturtiums outside the front door were abundant, as usual.

When it's still white and frigid outside the garden room is warm and lush on a sunny day. The ivy is very abundant after a humble beginning - just 2 plants 10 years ago. This is the view from the master bedroom.

I had this lovely, HUGE Brugmansia for 2 years, but then I lost it because I let it get too cold in the Garden Room last winter. I am so sorry. It had grown into a spectacular plant that reminded us so much of Hawai'i.

The big bird, originally built for Burlington's 2000 First Night "Drums and Dragons" parade now resides on the western end of the widow's walk, poised for flight at any moment.

Two weeks after the first photo (left), the heat of the sun (and more of it) has worked wonders (picture right). The amazing Mimosa has quadrupled in size since I purchased it last year and looks like it is very happy, even here in our almost-Zone-5 climate in northwest Vermont.
The nasturtium and morning glory climb over the other plants as the season progresses because I love to create jungles!
